red box August 2010 — BIS BEGINS WORK ON THE COMPLIANCE SERVICES INTERNATIONAL WEBSITE
Compliance Services International (CSI) is working with BIS to create a new website with an updated Look and Feel. BIS is providing CSI with a complete redesign, as well as a new, customized CMS tool that will allow for speedy updates and easy use.

red box July 2010 — BIS PARTNERING WITH WINDERMERE REAL ESTATE
BIS will be partnering with Windermere Real Estate to build them an online transaction system. The new tool will allow for agents to sign up and pay for events and classes.

June 2010 — BIS GOES LIVE WITH PARTY WEDDING
It’s a party! Party Wedding’s new website was launched June 2010. Featuring a robust e-commerce system, new CMS tool, the website is shelled by a beautiful and vibrant new design. Customers can easily peruse through merchandise to find their favorite Twilight cardboard cutout, or piñatas for a kid’s birthday. Party Wedding has it all, and now with their new website, it’s all easily accessible and very user friendly!

Launched June 2010, the website features a rotating homepage image, and the ability to have up-to-date content. 

red box May 2010 — BIS LAUNCHES FULL CIRCLE
BIS launches the new Full Circle Finance website. The new website features an intuitive navigation, creative look, and payment calculators. Full Circle Finance is a lending company based out of Wenatchee, WA that specializes in small businesses with large equipment needs. See more at www.fullcirclellc.us

February 2010 — BIS WORKS WITH ARK INSTITUTE
BIS is working with the ARK Institute of Learning to enhance their current website design, as well as provide them with a CMS tool, allowing for easy updates.
BIS’ CMS tool allows for role-based authoring, media upload, search functionality, site-map generation, website navigation management, and a WYSIWYG editor, among other things. ARK, based in Tacoma, WA, is a non-profit agency dedicated to helping to alleviate the impact of learning disorders in the lives of both children and adults.

BIS has a new partner in the healthcare industry – Franciscan Healthcare! The recently launched Gig Harbor Cancer Care website provides the team with an online presence meant to showcase the physicians and practice. January 2010 — BIS WELCOMES NEW PARTNER FULL CIRCLE FINANCE
A finance company based in Wenatchee, WA, Full Circle Finance has signed to work with BIS to build a new website featuring a brand new design and CMS tool. BIS plans to build the site to cater to their clients via easy navigation and an intuitive layout, as well as by featuring Full Circle Finance’s Solutions.

April 2009 — RICHLITE AND BIS PARTNER AGAIN 
BIS got a call from the folks at Richlite. BIS had previously designed Richlite’s website, and after a redesign or two, BIS is excited to announce that they will once again be working with Richlite!

The Smart Grid Conference website provides attendee information for the upcoming April conference, as well as registration and sponsorship forms. It features logo and design work by BIS’ creative design department.

February 2009 — CAREER BRIDGE/ WASHINGTON WORKFORCE
After nearly a year and a half of planning, converting, and developing, Career Bridge launched their new website in February 2009.  The site offers the public a new resource to explore new career paths, find continued education, and more.  Schools can also apply on the website to join the database of educators. The Career Bridge website will reach out and help many people who are either seeking a new career path or to advance their career.

February 2009 — BIS SELECTED BY PORT OF KALAMA
BIS was contracted by the Port of Kalama completely redesign their website. BIS originally worked with the Port in 2002 to build their current website. After seven years of growth, the Port wanted to reflect its succcess with a completely updated design. The new site will focus on a new look-and-feel and navigation. A new CMS tool will also be implemented, making updates quick and easy, keeping Port users constantly informed.


 

February 2009 — WINSOR FIREFORM
Launched in February 2009, Winsor Fireform wanted their re-designed website to more prominently display photographs of their products. BIS implemented a photo gallery that allows users to browse through Winsor’s inventory. Additionally, a new CMS tool was added that makes it easy for staff at Winsor to add and update their products in the photo gallery.

February 2009 — BIS WINS BID FOR PUGET SOUND PRSA WEBSITE PROJECT
After making it to the final three candidates, BIS won the bid for the Puget Sound PRSA website redesign project.  BIS plans on implementing usability studies along with intuitive navigation and smooth site architecture. The Puget Sound PRSA’s goals for their new website include increasing membership value and providing a space for local PR practitioners to network and further their professional development.


 

January 2009 — NEW WEBSITE FOR THE CITY OF KENMORE
BIS launched the City of Kenmore’s brand new website. Focusing on restructuring the website for a more intuitive navigational process, BIS implemented usability studies in order to make the site easy-to-use. Features such as interactive maps and a new CMS tool make it easy to update the site and keep residents informed; these feautres also the City to really communicate with their users and keep them up-to-date on the current events and projects in Kenmore.

January 2009 — THE WASHINGTON STATE BUILDING CODE COUNCIL (SBCC)
BIS launched the SBCC’s completely re-designed website. BIS utilized focus groups and usability studies to ensure the site maintains an easy-to-navigate structure and quick access to information, making the website efficient to use. The new site also features a clean design and a brand new CMS tool.

January 2009 — TACOMA BUSINESS DISTRICTS
BIS launched the Tacoma Business Districts’ new website. With a new look-and-feel, the TBD really freshened up their website to achieve an up-to-date appearance. The back-end has a new CMS tool, allowing for the TBD volunteers-- who range in levels of technical experience-- to easily update the website content.

January 2009 — SJ BARRETT AND BIS PARTNER
SJ Barrett came to BIS in need of expert advice on the Web medium and timely results in the upkeep of their current website. BIS re-launched SJ Barrett with both an updated website and internal picture gallery that features their portfolio.

January 2009 — BIS SPONSORS DAVID MACAULAY EXHIBIT
BIS is the proud sponsor of the Caldecott-Award-Winning Illustrator and Author, David Macaulay exhibit. This Tacoma Art Museum exhibition showcases his creative and artistic process, and features the creation of a book, from sketch to publication. 
A published author since 1973, David Macaulay is well known for the illustrative explanations of how things work in books such as The New Way Things Work, and the recently published The Way We Work.  In early January, David Macaulay created "site-specific" work, which incorporates un-traditional spaces and parts of the museum itself! The exhibition also features related lectures, workshops, and a festival. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the amazing work of David Macaulay and learn about The Way He Works!

October 2008 — BIS LAUNCHES PINNACLE'S NEW WEBSITE
BIS launched Pinnacle’s new website. A complete redesign, their site now features a new CMS tool for easy updating and an enhanced navigation flow. BIS focused on improving their information structure in order to give customers and internal users an easy way to access information about the company's services.

October 2008 — SKOOT RELAUNCHES
Skoot re-launched with a new website and new branding. Featuring improved look-and-feel, the new site meets Skoot's goals to be more visually appealing and to allow customers quick, easy access to information.

August 2008 — NEW PORT OF TACOMA SITE
The new Port of Tacoma site emphasizes access to public information, an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, and a clean design.
According to the new website content: "The site features a new format designed for easier navigation and a constant flow of information and images. 'We were the first U.S. port to launch a website back in 1995,' said Port Communications Director Rod Koon. 'Our new website implements the latest internet technologies to better communicate with our customers, the transportation logistics industry and with our community.'"
